Hey guys, I've been wondering about this for a while now: Can AI create original music? Like, can it produce a beat similar to my style? Or does it just end up copying existing data? Do you think it'll replace me in the future? 🤔
Can artificial intelligence generate music?

Yeah, I'm totally feeling what you're saying. When I experiment with AI tools in my small projects, I've come across models that generate AI beats mimicking someone like Einer's sound. There are genuinely systems that understand which style you like—I've even seen AI produce a similar loop after I fed it a few samples. Of course, it still struggles to perfectly mimic an original artist, but it's pretty promising for the future.
But don’t forget, AI does have that copying aspect—it’s basically combining motifs from the dataset. I’m not sure if it’ll replace human musicians, but I believe artists will use AI as a tool to create new styles. If you want to try it out, there are tons of open-source AI music tools on GitHub—I can help you test some together.
Man, I've been dealing with this topic for a while now, bro. For example, I used an app called "Amper Music" to create a rock track close to my style, and I really liked it. So yeah, there's copying involved, but it's got just as much synthesizing ability, I'd say. Will it replace us in the future? I think it'll partially, but it can never replace humans when it comes to hobbies.
