I’ve been tweaking a ’19 rear-wheel-drive coupe for a few seasons now, and the biggest gains came from a systematic, low-cost approach rather than hunting for exotic parts. First, I dialed the front camber and caster to the factory specs, then nudged the camber a touch more negative (about –2° to –3°) to improve front-end grip when cornering hard. On the rear, a modest rear-camber reduction (≈ –1.5°) helped keep the tires on the edge of the slip line without sacrificing stability. Keeping the anti-roll bar stiffness modest—just enough to curb body roll but not to make the car nervy—gave a predictable feel and let me fine-tune the balance with spring rates later if needed. On the tire side, I found that a slight pressure drop (roughly 2-3 psi below the OEM recommendation) at the front and a small increase at the rear gave a more neutral understeer/oversteer split, especially on a dry track. The change is cheap and reversible, and the effect shows up in lap times within a few runs. Finally, I spent a weekend shuffling a few hundred pounds of weight: moving the battery to the trunk and adding a small ballast just ahead of the rear axle helped shift the car’s weight bias rearward, which smooths the transition into throttle-on cornering. Pairing those geometry and weight tweaks with a disciplined driver-side routine—smooth inputs, braking in a straight line, and a consistent apex line—produced measurable lap-time improvements without any brand-specific components. The key is to change one variable at a time, log the results, and iterate; that way you balance cost, time, and performance efficiently.
