What are the key differences between Wi-Fi 6 and the classic Wi-Fi 5? In what scenarios does upgrading to Wi-Fi 6 make sense? What conditions need to be met to justify choosing the new standard?

I get that Wi-Fi 6 is genuinely better than classic Wi-Fi 5, but do I need to replace all my devices at once, or should I upgrade gradually?

With Wi-Fi 6, you're clearly stepping into another league, especially on highly congested networks. I work on projects where dozens of devices are connected at the same time (smartphones, PCs, TVs, speakers, etc.), and Wi-Fi 5 quickly shows its limits. Wi-Fi 6, with its OFDMA and wider channels, handles congestion much better: speeds stay stable even when everyone's online. I switched to a Wi-Fi 6 router this year, and the difference in heavy file transfers or simultaneous 4K streaming was striking. If you're in a dense environment (office, home with lots of devices) or have future needs (IoT, virtual reality, massive uploads), Wi-Fi 6 quickly becomes a must. On the other hand, if you only have a PC and a phone, Wi-Fi 5 can still cut it—as long as you don’t have latency or saturation issues.
