Hello everyone! I'm a bit confused about technology. Normally, I use Wi-Fi 6, but I'm considering upgrading to hardware that supports the 6 GHz band in my new home. Do you think Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E is preferable? What do you think are the main advantages and disadvantages between them? I'm really curious.
Which is better: Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E?

Which devices actually support Wi-Fi 6E? That’s important too—I couldn’t find any cheap Wi-Fi 6 modems in the stores.
Kaan, if you're moving to that new house, I'd say invest in 6E, bro. Honestly, I made a similar move last year, and most of the devices in the house already supported it. The main plus is that with the new band coming in, you get a more stable connection without congestion. Especially in apartment buildings, if you're using Wi-Fi 6, there's a high chance of overlapping with your neighbors' networks, and the 6 GHz band solves that.
But watch out, there are downsides too. The 6 GHz band has a shorter range and doesn't pass through walls as easily. If your place is big or has multiple floors, you’ll need to strategically place your access points. Also, not many devices support 6E yet, but that’s changing fast. I upgraded when I got my new phone, and the rest automatically drop to 5 GHz—worst case, they’ll go down to 6. Apart from a minor adjustment period, I’d recommend 6E; it lets you look to the future more comfortably.
