Which approach is more advantageous in your opinion: multi-cloud services or hybrid cloud (combining local infrastructure with the cloud)? What would your priorities be, such as cost, manageability, or security? You don’t have to explain if you just want to share your preference briefly.

For me, the choice between multi-cloud and hybrid cloud mainly depends on the company's usage and priorities. **Multi-cloud** allows mixing services from different providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) to optimize costs, performance, or specific features. However, it complicates management and can create silos if not handled carefully. It’s great for companies with diverse needs looking to avoid vendor lock-in, but it requires real DevOps expertise to orchestrate everything properly. **Hybrid cloud**, on the other hand, offers more flexibility by keeping critical workloads on-premises while leveraging the cloud for scalability. It simplifies governance and security, especially for sensitive data. The downside is that it remains tied to a single primary cloud provider, which limits the advantages of multi-cloud. In short, if simplicity and control are the priorities, I lean toward hybrid.

When answering the question of whether to go multi-cloud or hybrid cloud, one of the most important criteria for me is **application dependencies**. Many startups start out working only on AWS and then switch to another cloud service (such as Azure or GCP) only to run into serious compatibility issues in their backend architectures and database choices. When I spoke with a company that had transitioned to hybrid cloud, I saw how complex it is to synchronize their on-premises infrastructure with the cloud—especially for firms with legacy systems. In this case, do those who prefer multi-cloud gain more flexibility, or does hybrid cloud’s cohesion provide advantages to both sides?
