I'm looking for a reliable, repeatable method to keep up with the constant stream of tech news without getting bogged down by the usual noise and overload. Specifically, how do you filter sources, set reading schedules, and decide which breakthroughs are worth a deeper dive? Do you rely on newsletters, RSS feeds, community summaries, or a mix of these? Also, any tips on balancing depth versus breadth when covering emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, or consumer hardware? I'd love to hear what systems have worked for you, how you organize the information, and what pitfalls to watch out for. Your collective experience could help create a practical checklist for the rest of us.

Hmm, reading "how do you filter sources" made me think of that massive RSS feed nightmare we all had to deal with when our Twitter/X timelines were cluttered with around 100 accounts. I personally filter out the most reliable 5-6 news sources manually and save the rest to "read later"—at least that way I can focus on the list before bed.
