Guys, there was a critical announcement from TÜRKSAT yesterday, bro. 📺🔥 It looks like there will be serious changes in the frequencies of TV channels with the new regulation. According to Hürriyet's news, a step-by-step solution process is being initiated, but in the end, it seems like everyone might experience a bit of chaos on their screens. What do you think? Will this situation be a serious headache especially for those with old TVs or satellite receivers? Or do you expect this move to be beneficial in the long run since we're already gradually transitioning to digital broadcasting? I have multiple TVs, and I think I'll have to replace all my old receivers... 😅 Looking forward to your comments, bro!

Speaking of yesterday, we actually went through this before when Digitürk changed its frequencies, honestly. Back then a bunch of channels got scrambled when the frequencies shifted, and some people had to replace their satellite receivers. I think Türksat’s move will involve a similar transition period. Since most old receivers don’t support frequency changes, you’ll either have to buy a new satellite receiver or deal with problems—it seems unavoidable. In my opinion, at least when checking the newly re‑broadcast channels you’ll need to set the receiver manually, after all we were already moving to digital broadcasting. But in the long run it’ll be worth it: a more stable picture quality and space for new channels. I also have an old receiver, so I think I’ll be forced to replace it. I’d probably just use an Apple TV or something; I hope they won’t have any issues. Leaving the old receivers unsupported just makes the process harder, of course.
