Guys, I've been wondering about the difference between OLED and Mini LED in display technologies for a while now. Which one is more advantageous in terms of performance, energy consumption, and image quality? I used to think OLED was the luxury option, but I see Mini LED is a serious competitor too. Which one do you think will be more dominant in the future?
What is the fundamental difference between OLED and Mini LED?

I dug into the difference between Mini LED and OLED myself when I was buying a screen last year, buddy. Basically, both use a back‑lighting system, but they work differently. Mini LED uses a ton of tiny LED light sources, which lets it light specific zones and get better contrast in dark areas. OLED, on the other hand, has each pixel generate its own light, so black areas stay completely off. In the end, Mini LED can have a bit of light bleed, but it’s brighter and lasts longer than OLED.
When it comes to power consumption, OLED is really impressive—when it shows black it uses almost no power. Mini LED uses more because the light is always on. As for image quality, OLED nails the blacks and has vivid colors, but Mini LED wins on brightness. Which one will dominate in the future? In my opinion, they’ll both serve different niches. OLED is for those who want a luxurious, thin screen, while Mini LED is for folks who don’t mind a slight greenish tint. I think both will survive.
