Guys, which of these two wireless protocols for IoT projects is more reliable and stable? Zigbee's mesh network advantage is great, but Z-Wave is said to perform better in low-interference environments. Which one offers a more long-term solution? Which one would you prefer?

Zigbee’s mesh network and low power consumption are really impressive, but I got really frustrated with the communication dropouts once I started using a bunch of cheap Chinese devices at home. When I switched to Z-Wave, the first thing I noticed was that it operates on the 868 MHz band, so it’s not affected by Wi-Fi or microwaves. In the four months since, I’ve barely needed to repeat any commands.
Despite the mesh advantage, Z-Wave’s stricter certification process means you don’t run into synchronization issues. That’s why I now prefer Z-Wave for almost all my projects—even with the growing number of IoT devices, its stability has won me over.
