DNS over HTTPS (DoH) is being increasingly adopted to encrypt DNS queries. Some see it as a privacy improvement, while others worry about potential downsides like censorship or centralization. Either way, it’s drastically changing how the internet works. What do you think? Does it truly enhance security without introducing other issues?

Since I tested DoH myself via Firefox, I can confirm that DNS requests become unreadable to my ISP or any intermediate network. After a few weeks of use, I no longer see targeted ads on the sites I visit, so in terms of privacy, it really makes a difference. On the other hand, I’ve noticed that some sites or internal company tools block access when DoH is enabled, which can be annoying on a daily basis.
