When joining a server, paid premium subscriptions are now popping up. Which type of membership do you get? Do you prefer the 'General Premium' with useful features or the 'VIP Membership' that relaxes server rules? I think there's a fine line between these two options. What do you think? Why?

When choosing between General Premium and VIP, I'm basically looking at the balance between the "benefits" given and the "fairness of the price" paid, bro. With General Premium, you usually get access to channel unlocks, some custom emojis, or limited server ads. VIP, on the other hand, usually offers perks like rule flexibility, special positioning, and sometimes even direct access to server owners. My preference usually leans towards General Premium because I find the price more reasonable for what it offers in most servers.
But of course, if the premium I'm buying actually has a useful feature behind it, then I think the server owners have created real value with it. For example, if a DeFi project server makes it easier for me to stake tokens with a premium membership, I'd be willing to pay directly. With VIP membership, I need to see what I'm gaining from the rule relaxation; otherwise, it just feels like they're acting like "we're special," and I'd feel like I wasted my money.
Ultimately, it all depends on the server's value proposition, bro. Instead of spending money on a VIP that doesn't offer quality premium features, I go for General Premium that actually helps me grow or brings me joy. Don't you think so too?
