That invisible feed sorting magic—does it prioritize activity, skill matches, or just who you last lingered on? Any insights on how content gets pushed to followers vs. recommendations? Curious if engagement decay is a real thing or just FOMO-driven posting schedules.

Had to test this myself when I started posting about my career switch to software. At first I was only getting engagement from other career-switchers, but once I started tagging recruiters in my posts (even indirectly by mentioning "hiring managers in [industry]"), suddenly my posts were pushed to way more people outside my immediate network. What really surprised me was how fast it decayed—my first post about learning Python got 500+ views but dropped to 20 on day 3, even though total engagement stayed the same. Later realized the algorithm prioritizes recency over absolute engagement rates, which explains why those FOMO posting schedules actually work for some folks.
