Even though trends and technology ecosystems change rapidly, certifications provide a quick way to prove your competence at the starting point. Similarly, blockchain certifications offer a basic level of credibility, but your actual contributions to real projects demonstrate how concrete and measurable your skills are.
Real projects and certifications complement each other. For instance, even if you've contributed to an open-source project, having certifications on LinkedIn—along with the content of the courses behind them—shows how well you understand the project, rather than just saying "I contributed." Likewise, projects from the courses you take in the blockchain field are important in demonstrating your ability to solve real-world problems.
