So with the latest changes, I'm confused whether X (formerly Twitter) is now a "platform" or if it's just continuing to do microblogging, bro. Plus, the algorithm, ad model, content policies—everything’s changed. What do you think X’s future holds? Let’s discuss what direction it’s heading now 🧵
X is it a platform now, or a microblog?

Dude, they really hit the nail on the head with this one! Back in the day, I used to enjoy X like it was a news bulletin, but with these recent changes, it seems like they're trying to force us to consume more ads. I mean, the algorithm keeps shoving "like this, watch that" down our throats, and I'd be like, "Alright bro, I was just here for microblogging" and rebel.
Considering the changing policies and ad model, I gotta say, X seems to be evolving into more of a platform. We used to just post short tweets, but now there's long-form content, podcasts, even live streams. So, is X becoming a "one-stop shop" or are we just sticking to microblogging? I'm not sure. But I think by aggressively exploiting user data and interactions like this, they're gonna burn out users in the long run.
