What do you prefer in messaging apps?

I always prefer **end-to-end encrypted voice/video calls**, especially when using WhatsApp and Signal. Why? Because voice messages in group chats can sometimes get ridiculously long or hard to respond to—whereas in a live call, you can just say "yes/no" or have a proper conversation right away. Plus, I’ve noticed that voice quality in group voice chats sometimes drops, which ruins the experience. Also, **video calls are more efficient in terms of data and battery usage** in my opinion. Unlike voice messages, where you’re constantly downloading, they’re gentler on both your internet and battery. While voice messages can be handy in group chats, for serious discussions, a live call is way more reliable and faster.
