Lately, we’ve been seeing NFT-based digital assets making a comeback in metaverse projects. While not at the same high volumes as before, there are signs that demand for collectibles and virtual ownership is rising again. Especially when combined with gamified world experiences, this trend continues to add a new dimension to users' digital identities. Do you think NFTs will become a permanent part of the metaverse ecosystem, or will they just remain a temporary trend? How do you assess the feedback on this?

Even though I know it won’t explode like it did back in the day, I’m still hyped about these NFTs… Look, it’s basically like MySpace in the mid‑2000s. Back then everyone was talking about the “social media revolution,” and when Facebook showed up it got tossed aside. But MySpace’s successor was clearly that. Similarly, NFTs seem poised to carve out a permanent spot in the metaverse ecosystem, especially for games and virtual worlds that need digital ownership and identity integration. So they’ll stick around, but they’ll always be a bit of a second‑class citizen volume‑wise. And I’m also seeing real‑world brands moving into the metaverse—Nike, Gucci, the lot… They’re launching their virtual goods as NFTs. So NFTs are no longer just a speculative asset; they’ve become part of brands’ digital marketing strategies. Honestly, I believe they’ll endure, but let’s stop acting like everything has to be an NFT!
