My First Experience with the Google Pixel 7: Camera, Battery, and the Surprises of Android 13

The ultra-wide lens has a bit of distortion at the edges, which I noticed in some shots. As for battery life, the Pixel 7’s 4,300mAh battery lasts a full day with normal use, but I saw it drop to 30% in one evening after heavy video streaming and gaming. The adaptive charging and nighttime power-saving features helped, though. Software-wise, Android 13’s new privacy controls and Material You theme made the device feel more personal. Google’s “Advanced Security” options in settings gave me peace of mind about data protection. And updates? They arrived automatically within a week, keeping the phone fresh. Overall, the Pixel 7 delivered on its price tag for me—especially with the camera and pure Android experience.
