With Huawei increasingly investing in its own operating system and a suite of proprietary services, the ecosystem is diverging from the mainstream Android model. Some argue this could foster innovation and reduce reliance on external platforms, while others worry about compatibility and app availability for users outside the core markets. How do you think this strategy will impact long-term software support, developer interest, and user experience? Do you believe a distinct OS can thrive globally, or will it remain a niche solution? I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the potential risks and benefits.

Wow, that's a bold move! I've been messing around with Arduino sensors daily, and I can really see how closed ecosystems can limit what you can do... If Huawei manages to offer a stable and open solution for developers like me, it could really shake things up. The downside is the risk of getting stuck with their own apps if the broader market doesn't follow suit.
