Guys, I've been listening to debates about iOS and Android for years, but I still don't understand what's really important to a non-technical user. Maybe someone has tested both systems in practice and can share personal observations? They say that iOS has simpler interaction with the device ecosystem—but is that really the case? Or is it just marketing? What do you think, is it worth overpaying for that?
What's better: iOS or Android from the perspective of a regular user?

Thanks for the detailed question—discussions like this really help newcomers understand what’s truly important. As for the ecosystem: if you already have a MacBook or iPad, then yes, Apple works seamlessly together, but it’s not a dealbreaker for your first smartphone. On the other hand, Android offers way more price options—how do you feel about that?
What's the difference, other than the price? If my future son-in-law doesn't even have an iPhone or a Mac, is it worth getting an iPad, or why overpay?
