Any thoughts on what this brand, which comes out with innovations every year, might focus on in its next model? Especially, what trends could stand out in software and hardware integration? I think the most important thing will be how they’ll push the user experience even further. What kind of innovations do you think we might see this year? It could be fun to make predictions together!

NVIDIA’s latest RTX 40 series introduced DLSS 3, which raises the question: how might this create a competitive landscape against Apple’s GPU architecture? For instance, while Apple reduces latency in high-performance graphics with its Metal API, NVIDIA’s innovations like Frame Generation stand out. As we anticipate Apple’s potential steps at WWDC 24, AMD’s RDNA 4 naturally comes to mind—because only through this comparison can we gauge how Apple will strike the delicate balance in graphics performance. On the software side, once Apple enhanced GPU compute performance in its custom SOCs, it progressed toward building an ecosystem that unifies every aspect of the user experience. If we compare Apple’s mobile optimization with the graphical precision of Sony or Microsoft’s consoles, Apple’s advantage lies in its mastery of ARM-based architecture. Next year, if Metal 4 or an even more advanced API arrives, Apple could leap ahead in real-time ray tracing performance—much like NVIDIA did with RTX 40, but in a far more optimized way.
