Guys, sometimes the first thing we notice with a new device is performance loss. Especially when we make changes without knowing what's running in the background, things can get really complicated. For example, people always talk about identifying and limiting apps that use too many system resources. But what are the tricks to manually adjust these? What do you guys do in these situations? Should we mess with app permissions, restrict background services, or manually optimize the system? Any different approaches are welcome.
How do you optimize performance on next-gen devices?

When I think of traditional performance optimization, the first thing that comes to mind is "Developer Options," so it makes sense to start there. After stabilizing the device, I enable developer options as soon as the phone turns on—specifically in the *status bar*—and then I reduce the "Limit background processes" setting to 4. This way, apps that unnecessarily consume resources in the background can't run rampant. But be careful—pushing this too far might risk removing apps you actually need.
After that, I review and optimize apps one by one every month. For example, Chrome was constantly running in the background and draining my battery, but when I switched to a Chromium-based browser like Bromite, I noticed significant improvements in both performance and battery life. In short, when manual intervention is needed, focusing on system solutions and finding alternative apps is the best approach.
