I'm curious about what factors determine whether software support becomes obsolete rather than continuing. Do hardware limitations dominate, or do manufacturer policies come into play? For example, if a device from 5-7 years ago can run new features, do you think performance loss kicks in?
How much software update support do old models get?

Thanks for sharing this doubt, it's always interesting to see how committed manufacturers are to their older products.
Have you noticed that even with official updates, some CAD programs start to stutter because the hardware can no longer keep up?
Maybe I can give a simple example: I'm using an old tablet, I once upgraded it from Android 9 to 10, and after the update, even browsing the web started to lag. Is it because the hardware is insufficient, is it up to the manufacturer, or do I think that no matter how good the device is, after 5 years when support is cut off, is this inevitable?
