What do you guys do to maintain battery performance on old phones? Mine has dropped to 80% and won’t fully charge anymore. Are there any general methods to compensate for this, or is replacing it the only option?

Dude, your issue sounds pretty serious, honestly. I had the same thing with my old phone—around 80% battery left even after 2-3 years of use. I’d say the best move is to replace the battery because old ones don’t hold up well over time. But if you’re strapped for cash, as a last resort, you could try reducing WiFi/4G usage and closing unnecessary background apps—sometimes that helps boost performance a bit. From my experience, keeping the battery at 100% all the time shortens its lifespan. I’d try to keep it below 80% when possible; that way, it lasts a bit longer. But like I said, if you’ve got the money, the smartest move is to get a new original battery. Replacing the battery in old phones is usually affordable anyway—maybe you could do that too.
