Guys, let's figure this out: is it worth chasing a second camera on a phone just for some "ultra-wide" optics, or is this just marketing? What does having two sensors actually affect—the quality of photos in different conditions, or is it more about app effects? And how do you evaluate the real benefits of this feature if you're not comparing it to expensive flagships? Has anyone tested something like this in the budget segment?
Smartphone optics with dual cameras: myth or reality?

Two-camera phones have this thing called "ultra-wide" optics, and I was like "woww" and immediately took out a loan from my grocery budget to get one 😂 When it's cheap on the budget, I think "two lenses, must take amazing photos" and buy it, then at night I turn on the night mode and realize it's just darkness and nothing else 😅
