Guys, the capacity issue always confuses me when buying a power bank. The smaller ones fit comfortably in my pocket but drain quickly, while the larger ones are a hassle to carry around all the time. How do you decide? How do you balance your device’s battery life, usage duration, and portability? Do any of you prefer capacities outside the 10,000mAh or 20,000mAh range? Share your experiences—let’s clear up this confusion together.

Let's say you're using an iPhone 13. Its standard battery is 3240mAh. You need 2-3 times more capacity for a full charge because power banks don't work at 100% efficiency. So in practice, a 10000mAh power bank can charge your phone a maximum of 2.5-3 times. With a 20000mAh one, that number goes up to 5-6 times. Mine is a Xiaomi 13T Pro with a 5000mAh battery. Here, a 10000mAh power bank can give me 2-3 full charges, while a 20000mAh one can give 8-10. But it needs to fit in my pocket. So I usually prefer models in the 15000mAh range, like the Anker PowerCore 15000 PD Redux. It gives me 2-3 full charges and fits comfortably in my pocket. I've balanced portability and usage time. To me, it makes more sense to carry a slightly larger one and charge it every few days rather than constantly carrying small ones in my pocket.
