I'd like to ask about things to consider when using the 48MP mode in quad-camera systems. How do you balance the advantages and disadvantages of this mode, especially in night mode and bright lighting conditions? Image quality drops significantly in low-light environments, so what settings do you use in such situations? How should HDR and ISO settings be optimized?

When messing around with the 48MP mode on my camera, my favorite comparison is Xiaomi's "pixel binning" mode. Comparing the image from all 48MP pixels used individually versus the "4-to-1" combination in 12MP mode, the difference is clear. For example, in night mode, the 12MP photo comes out cleaner, but with 48MP, the noise is overwhelming, and details get lost. In that case, I only prefer 48MP in well-lit daytime settings because if the light is good in the late afternoon, the dynamic range is razor-sharp. On the other hand, when it comes to HDR and ISO, I give Huawei's Leica settings a little nod. Instead of auto-HDR, starting with "medium" level and manually adjusting between 5-7 when the light is really changing is the way to go. For ISO, keeping it around 400-800 in night mode works best, and going above 1600 in 48MP mode doubles the noise. In short, it's best not to overdo 48MP and switch modes based on lighting conditions.
