Looking at Realme's recent hardware trends, there's definitely an interesting trajectory. They're offering some pretty ambitious specs, from 120W+ fast charging to 2K 144Hz displays. But what I'm really curious about is their cooling systems. How well do they handle thermal performance, especially under heavy gaming loads? Let's see what you all have experienced/shared and learn together. Who knows Realme's cooling and thermal optimization strategies better than you?
What's available in the Realme category and how are things going?

Man, it's been almost two years since I switched to the Realme lineup. I just got the 8 Pro, and I think I actually have a solid amount of experience with the thermal side you mentioned. With that 120 W charger, I'm dealing with a lot of stress on both the screen and the cooling. For example, when I play Genshin or COD Mobile for long sessions, the back of the phone gets seriously hot, hitting around 45‑47 °C. But surprisingly, the performance drop is minimal, so the thermal throttling isn’t that bad if you want to stay in the game. I just feel the cooling system is limited to a single heat pipe—more like a concentrated patch of thermal paste than a broad surface. To me, Realme’s focus on the display and charging shows they pushed cooling to the back burner. From a user‑experience standpoint, around 40 °C is usually considered an acceptable thermal range, but once it goes a bit above that I start feeling a real loss of comfort. My back even starts heating up because of it.
