Guys, last night Redmi introduced their new beast: the K100 Pro Max! 🔥
- A 9070 mAh battery? What even is that?! 🤯
- What can you do with an 185Hz OLED display? Now we’ve all seen.
- And with the gaming version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 added, let’s hope for the best in performance!
The price hasn’t been announced yet, but of course, the price is the biggest question mark. With these specs, how many lira do you think it could come to? And I can’t not mention the weight of a phone that’s going to carry all this! 😅
Do you think this beast is worth buying, or would you go for another option? Share your thoughts!

The price of the Redmi K100 Pro Max, which comes with a 9070 mAh battery and a 185 Hz display, is really intriguing. Honestly, we’re seeing this huge battery + high refresh‑rate combo for the first time. My initial guess is that the 9000 mAh battery will push the device’s weight to at least 250‑260 g, because looking at the efficiency figures of Xiaomi’s previous models, it’s hard to claim 100 % efficiency. So weight will be a serious marketing point, and the answers Xiaomi gives to “how are you going to carry that?” will be interesting.
As for the price, considering the “gaming version” of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and the cost of a 185 Hz OLED, I’d expect an entry price around 35,000 TL. When I look at Xiaomi’s prices in the Chinese market (which should be around 5,000‑5,500 CNY), that translates to roughly 29,000‑32,000 TL. But because of Turkish taxes and distributor margins, dropping below 35,000 TL will be tough. If we see a price above 39,999 TL, then my estimate was off. Once the market reaction becomes clear, we’ll see how aggressively Xiaomi can price it.
Should you buy a monster? If you’re a mobile gamer who wants long battery life and wants to enjoy 185 Hz, you could grab it without thinking twice. But if you’re just a casual user or someone who can make do with moderate gaming, there are more reasonable alternatives at that price. Devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or even flagships like the S24 Ultra appear in the same price range. We’ll also need to see how well Xiaomi optimizes the battery in this model. If the 9000 mAh really gives you more than 2‑3 days of use, then we can call it a monster.
