Do you prefer foldable screens on your devices or standard flat screens? How do you balance size versus ease of use for yourself? Do you prioritize accessing more content on a smaller device or comfortable one-handed use? Market trends are making foldables appealing, but are they convincing in terms of price-to-performance ratio? What do you think?

Guys, foldable screens seem like the future of tech, but I’m not saying we’re not heading there—just that they’re not spreading super fast in the market, honestly. Samsung, Google, and even Xiaomi have been experimenting in this space for years, but prices have always been really high, so regular users avoided buying them. Meanwhile, with standard screens, size has always been a dilemma: 5.5–6.1" is ideal for one-handed use, while 6.5–6.7" offers more space and comfort, but doesn’t fit in your pocket easily. Is there a user-friendly middle ground? If so, I’d say around 6.3". Mine’s an iPhone 15 Pro Max with a 6.7" screen, and yeah, it fits comfortably in my pocket because, besides the screen size, there’s a big design improvement. Apple has been rumored to be working on a foldable device—kind of a tablet-iPhone hybrid—but for now, that’s just speculation. Plus, foldables aren’t just about bigger screens; they come with extra weight and durability issues. I tried the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, and even tiny scratches on the cover screen and its appearance annoyed me. When it comes to price-to-performance, foldables have always been expensive and lagged behind standard smartphones in performance. Look, bro, I think the sweet spot for balancing one-handed use and easy pocket carry is 6.1–6.5". Foldables only seem to catch on in the Android world—there’s no real trend like that in iOS. If you don’t want to compromise on screen size, getting a 6.7" iPhone 15 Pro Max and letting your pocket adjust to it is probably the smarter move. As for price, Apple is very unlikely to release a foldable iPhone because they’ve always prioritized simplicity and ease of use. So if you ask me, standard-screen devices are still the best choice.
