I'm planning to upgrade my device in the 'Samsung Galaxy S' category. Main choices: focus on camera quality or display. The camera has a higher resolution sensor and larger aperture, while the screen has a higher refresh rate (120Hz). What's more important to you personally and why? Let's vote!

As a Samsung fan, the screen has long been my top priority. Why? I used to have the Note 10+ with AMOLED and 60Hz, and when I switched to the S22 Ultra, I didn’t even notice the camera difference at first (though it’s top-tier too). But those deep blacks and the smoothness of 120Hz? Pure daily pleasure. The camera is important, sure, but if the screen doesn’t wow me, why bother with the gadget? My friend has the iPhone 15 Pro with 120Hz, and he says that even at the same resolution, Samsung’s display is softer and warmer—way nicer for an hour of YouTube. And honestly, I mostly use the camera for quick social media pics, not high-end shots. So for me, 120Hz + OLED is the key factor. I’m voting for the screen!

I was in a similar dilemma when upgrading from my S21 to the S23. I was torn between the camera and the 120Hz display— the S23 Ultra seemed to have it all, but I went for the regular S23 for the lower price. A couple of months later, I realized the 120Hz screen really elevated the gaming and video experience to another level. The camera is great, sure, but in everyday life, you rarely push the sensor to its limits—I take 80% of my photos in auto mode. But the smoothness of the interface and gaming... you feel that every single day. So if daily comfort matters more to you than pixel counts, consider a model with a solid refresh rate.
