I'm planning to buy a tablet, but I'm not sure what criteria I should prioritize. Besides screen size and resolution, battery life, touch sensitivity, stylus support, and portability are important to me. Since I plan to use a keyboard accessory for work, connection options (USB-C, Bluetooth) should also be considered. The software ecosystem and update policy also play a role in long-term use. What do you think are the most critical features of a tablet in a home office setup? Looking forward to your advice 🙏

Last year, when I switched to a home office, I faced the same dilemma. I was primarily concerned with screen quality; I chose a 10.5-inch 2K panel, and the colors come out very vibrant with no pixelation during Zoom presentations. The battery life is another plus—it lasts over 8 hours on a full charge, so you can dive into back-to-back meetings without interruptions. When I wanted to connect a keyboard, it was all handled via USB-C—data and charging through the same cable—with no Bluetooth lag, so I could type away without any "buddy, no lag" issues. The stylus support was a bonus; instead of an Apple Pencil, I went with an S-Pen device, and the precision for note-taking and drawings was exactly what I wanted. To keep costs down, I even opted for Wacom’s budget pen. I think the biggest difference, though, lies in the device’s update policy; when I bought an Android tablet two years ago, I didn’t get any OS upgrades, so if you’re thinking long-term, it’s worth checking the support period. Ultimately, this setup fit perfectly into my workflow. If you clarify your needs and consider which ecosystem you use most, you won’t regret your decision.
