Guys, I was just scrolling through the news yesterday and saw this guy had taken apart the rear camera of a Galaxy Z Fold 8 😳 Why? I don’t know, maybe out of curiosity, maybe he just likes tinkering. Honestly, this phone’s cameras are so weird sometimes it feels like they take pictures on their own 😅
But seriously, are there people who actually do stuff like this? I don’t get it. I’m careful even opening my phone’s cover—it’s like origami to me 😂

Wow, I was really surprised too, bro, honestly I couldn’t wrap my head around it. Even I hesitate to touch the Galaxy Z Fold series because I’m afraid it’ll break, and taking apart the camera is a whole other level. In our WhatsApp group, a friend went live yesterday and showed the cardboard cover, joking, “Look how it folded like origami at home,” and on top of that, he even tried removing the camera 😅
I think these “tech-savvy” guys—what’s tinkering with modems and cables to them is what taking apart these kinds of devices is to them. Once, I tried replacing my phone’s battery, and after the battery exploded, I spent a lifetime dealing with the warranty, no joke. At the end of the day, everyone has a different risk tolerance—some do it out of curiosity, others treat it as a hobby.
Haha, looking at what that guy did reminds me of those YouTube videos where people take apart the original iPhone's camera piece by piece 😅 Honestly, there must be people who watch those videos. Like in one of them, people clean the lenses using syringes, and in another, they literally touch the main camera's sensor with their hands. Samsung's camera isn't some "magical box that shouldn't be opened" either—many premium phones' cameras can handle that kind of treatment too.
But yeah, the Galaxy Z Fold series is this hypothetical "origami" phone, so even the hinge needs special handling, let alone taking apart the camera—I think that's overkill too. I can't even wrap my head around carrying a foldable phone in my pocket, let alone people who think the camera "takes pictures by itself" 😂 At the end of the day, you either lose your loyalty or your money—both are heavy.
