I'm clearly an urban traveler; the city that left the deepest mark on me is Berlin. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the pulse of the electronic scene beating there, between underground clubs and rooftops where minimalist yet jazzy techno sets were played. One night, I walked into a small bar in Kreuzberg where the DJ was spinning a mix of synth-wave and Miles Davis classics, creating an atmosphere that was both retro and futurist. That unexpected contrast between neon lights and saxophone reminded me of my own experiments back home and convinced me that metropolises are the most fertile ground for discovering new sonic textures while meeting artists from all over the world. This experience confirmed that cities aren’t just concrete machines; they’re cultural laboratories where every neighborhood becomes an improvised recording studio. So I can’t wait to set off and explore other capitals like Tokyo or New York, where the sounds of the streets, urban festivals, and rooftop music scenes provide the perfect backdrop to fuel my creativity and my love of travel.

I spent a summer in Barcelona where seaside evenings blended open-air DJ sets with fireworks, and every time I revisit those recordings, the relaxed coastal vibe reminds me why I love traveling near the water so much. Plus, coastal stops make it easy to explore diverse local cultures, from street markets to music festivals, which always enriches my sound library.
