Comparing Valve's netcode to Valorant with CS2's improvements feels like a serious step forward. The "wired network still has delay" issue that Valorant never seemed to fix seems to have lessened in CS2, even with low ping games. Valorant has the advantage of connecting to Riot's preferred servers, but I didn't expect CS2 to be this stable—wondering how they pulled it off.
Personally, when I experienced that extra 10-15% delay in Valorant, CS2 now feels almost the same level of responsiveness. Back then, even with a wired connection, I'd get screen freezes after shots, but now the gameplay is much smoother. Still, offline matches still have those pesky stuttering issues, reminds me of my old CW experiences to be honest.
