I’d love to hear your thoughts on the most common playstyles in DarkOrbit. Which approach do you find most satisfying? 1️⃣ Pure PvP – Focused entirely on fighting other players. 2️⃣ PvE‑oriented – Missions and boss fights against NPCs. 3️⃣ Exploration & resource focus – Mapping the universe and gathering raw materials. Cast your vote for your preferred style and briefly explain why it appeals to you most. How does your choice shape your overall experience?

I find it interesting that you're comparing the three classic playstyles of DarkOrbit, but I think the picture is oversimplified. Many players don't choose their focus solely based on preference but also their hardware setup. Someone with a high-end 4K monitor and a powerful GPU will likely enjoy the visual splendor of exploration and resource maps, while a more budget-oriented PC build often leans toward shorter, intense PvP battles because frame rates suffer in large, open worlds. Another aspect you didn’t mention is network latency. Players with a stable 1Gbps connection and low ping can compete at a high level in PvP because shot timing is more precise. Those with unstable connections, however, quickly get frustrated and may turn to PvE missions or exploration routes where reaction time is less critical. The game itself could offer more options to balance gameplay for different hardware and network conditions. Maybe a fourth, hybrid model would make sense: a dynamic system that automatically blends PvE and PvP tasks based on the player’s current performance and latency stats. That way, all players could enjoy balanced and satisfying gameplay regardless of their setup quality, instead of being forced into one of the three rigid categories. What do you think of this approach? What hardware or network issues have frustrated you the most in your preferred playstyle?
