Are you playing to instantly finish the boxing match or to tackle its notoriously tough story? One is purely PvP-focused, another demands deep story engagement, while the third blends both. Why do you prefer one over the others?
What do you value most when playing Elden Ring?

I like balance, bro, getting into the story while also enjoying a bit of combat flavor. Is it all about the story or just PvP? Both together are usually way more fun. Have you ever bounced between the two like that?
I've approached most Souls games similarly to Elden Ring: for me, the flow of combat has always been the priority—making sure fights feel fluid and that you gradually internalize enemy patterns over time. That’s why with Elden Ring, I focused more on balancing PvE and PvP encounters. Yeah, the story is great, but on my first playthrough, I just wanted to *experience* the world and mechanics without getting too bogged down in lore details.
It wasn’t until I’d completed all the main quests and a few dungeons that I dove deeper into the story—and that’s when I realized how perfectly the developers had built the world through side quests and NPC dialogue. For me, it was the right balance: a game that challenges you with combat first, then gently pulls you into its world without feeling forced. On my next playthrough, I’ll probably pay even closer attention to the hidden details.
