In F1 simulators, there's a lot of debate about whether the priority should be to maximize realism in terms of the track, car, and strategy, or to offer a more accessible experience for players who are just starting out. On one hand, purists argue that any simplification ruins the essence of the sport and that competition only makes sense with precise data. On the other hand, newcomers prefer friendlier modes with assists and a less steep learning curve. What do you think is the ideal balance? Should there be an option to switch between both approaches? I'm interested to hear your opinions.
Should F1 simulation prioritize realism or accessibility for new players?

Is there any option for an "intermediate mode" that keeps real telemetry but offers customizable assists so beginners can learn without losing the sense of realism?
Just like Forza Horizon allows switching between arcade mode and simulation mode, F1 simulators should offer an adjustable "realism" option so beginners can start with assists and purists can disable those layers and race with exact data. This way, a balance is achieved that appeals to both audiences without losing the depth of the engine.
