Haha, I was just as confused as you when I first started playing FFXIV, and in the end, I saved my character with the story 😂 "Is it more important to learn the systems or just not die in raids?" I couldn’t sleep for three nights. If you don’t get lost, FFXIV has its magic—though I’ve regretted making my character a dark-skinned hobbit ever since 😭
Which do you find more interesting, following the story or diving deep into the systems? I’d say MSQs (main story quests) are usually the strongest part of the game, but as you progress, which systems do you want to focus on?
