PUBG Mobile updates are becoming more frequent, with new weapons, maps, and mechanics added every week. Some players feel this keeps the game dynamic, while others argue that the balance is falling apart, making certain strategies obsolete quickly. With constant content additions, the matchmaking system has to adapt, sometimes at the cost of ranking stability. Plus, the pressure to stay competitive pushes some players to spend more on in-game purchases. How do you feel about these changes? Do you prefer a slower pace of updates or the constant freshness of new content?

To manage the imbalance caused by weekly updates, I’ve started limiting my sessions to "trial seasons": I only play with the current meta for a week, then go back to the guns and cards I actually enjoy. This lets me stay competitive without feeling forced to constantly buy new stuff. In practice, I set up a small Excel sheet where I log new weapons, their damage, and fire rate, then test each one over 5 matches; anything that’s overpowered gets ignored until the next update. This quick tracking saves time and keeps my rank stable, even when matchmaking has to adjust. Personally, I prefer a moderate content pace: one big patch every two or three weeks, with minor tweaks in between so players have time to adapt. That way, strategies don’t become obsolete overnight, and the game stays fresh without pushing in-game purchases. A good compromise would be for developers to separate cosmetic additions (frequent) from balance changes (rarer), keeping things fresh while preserving gameplay balance.
