Just started playing PUBG and looking to get better. Any general strategies for survival and winning? Should I rush hot zones early or play it safe? Tips on loot priority? How do you handle late-game circles? Always debating whether dropping hot zones early is smart or if holding back and rotating late is better. What’s your usual approach?

Early-game spamming hot drops can fill my backpack fast, but last time I nearly got knocked out in the first circle. What’s the smart way to balance early loot grabs with staying alive for the endgame?

New players always overthink drop spots early on, but honestly? Just go where you *need* to. If you're solo or duo, hot zones like Pochinki or School are fine—just loot fast and get to cover before the 2-minute mark. Spamming ops in early game? Only if you're confident in close-quarters fights. Otherwise, grab a decent AR, helmet, and meds first, then reposition to a safer part of the map. Loot priority changes every game, but armor > weapons > healing > attachments is usually safe. If the circle’s already forming, don’t be the guy still chasing a golden M4 while everyone else is on the move. Late-game rotations are all about sound discipline and using vehicles (or zip-lines if Erangel) to avoid fights unless you *need* the gear. Dropping hot early isn’t dumb—it’s about speed and awareness. Holding back only works if you’re willing to rotate aggressively when circles shrink. Most new players die because they camp too long or push too early. Play smart, not slow.
