Hey guys, I've been grinding Skyrim for years but never tried the console versions. I've heard talk about Special Edition's stability versus Anniversary's extra content. What's the general consensus here? The Original vs SE vs AE debate always confuses me. Should I stick with PC mods or give consoles a try finally? What's the least painful way to jump in without committing to 4K textures and 5000 mods?

Which of these editions is truly the "purest" Skyrim experience right now? The Anniversary Edition sounds great with the AE patches, but is it just the Special Edition with DLC added, or is there more to it?
