What playstyle do you prefer in Valorant: zone control, aggressive duelist, or tactical support?

In Valorant, there are several roles that influence how you play as a team. For me, the decision comes down to three styles: controlling the area and blocking paths, attacking as a duelist and going for quick kills, or supporting with utilities and vision. Which of these styles would you usually use and why? Share your thoughts and, if you have agent combos that fit that style, tell us about them.

Personally, I play more like a zone controller because I like having a secure foundation for the team before initiating any attacks. In Valorant, this translates to setting up an information and lockdown network similar to how a firewall protects a company: each utility is a rule that prevents the enemy from moving freely. Agents like Killjoy with her turrets, Cypher with his cameras and traps, and Sage with her wall and healing form a combo that acts like a "firewall" in the match, closing off routes and forcing the enemy to go through the points you decide. When the map is well-covered, the rest of the team can focus on flanking or picking off enemies without worrying about being ambushed. If I need more dynamism, I combine this control with a support duelist like Jett or Reyna to create quick "exit ports," but I always keep the base secure. This mix of control and aggression reminds me of a hybrid network security model: a static perimeter layer complemented by quick access points to respond to incidents. In practice, this agent synergy allows me to dictate the pace of the game and adapt to any rival strategy.
