What’s the most logical time and situation to use Ultimates? Like, should I adapt based on my team’s weak spot on a certain map, or just go by the map itself? Does it tie into general strategy at all?

When using ultimates, the most important thing is to consider your team's overall strategy and the map you're playing on. For example, on maps like Ascent or Split where there are lots of narrow streets, map-specific ultimates become more prominent. If you use Phoenix’s “Run It Back” in a spot where you’ve cleared the enemies before pushing, it gives your team a serious advantage. On more open maps like Haven, KAY/O’s “Zero/Point” can restrict enemy movement and set up your team’s push. Ultimates should also be adjusted based on your team’s strengths and weaknesses, not just the map. If your team is struggling defensively, you can use Sage’s “Resurrection” or Jett’s “Blade Storm” to take early engagements in crossfire spots. From my experience, on Split, using Killjoy’s “Necro Ball” to disrupt the enemy’s defense without giving away your team’s push was the most effective. Ultimately, using ultimates isn’t just about the immediate situation—it’s about fitting into your strategy and your team’s needs.
