The current season of Warzone has brought some significant changes—new weapons, revamped loadouts, and altered matchmaking. Many players praise the fresh dynamics, while others criticize the lack of classic maps and the faster player rotation. The balance between Battle Royale and Plunder modes is especially controversial, with some feeling the focus has shifted too much toward short, intense matches. What aspects do you think should be kept, and where could the dev team tweak things to satisfy both new and long-time players? Which changes would you personally prioritize to make the gameplay more balanced?

Yeah, I had the same experience last season – the new weapons suddenly made the game feel fresh again, and I immediately found a few favorites that weren’t in the meta before. I really like the revamped loadout system because now I can tailor my gear much more precisely instead of always starting with the default setup.
That said, I get the criticism about the missing classic maps—my favorite one hasn’t shown up much since the patch, and it’s tough to keep that familiar gameplay feeling. Still, I think the devs should focus on new content; it keeps the game alive and gives even long-time players like me a chance to try out fresh strategies.
How did the new weapons and loadouts added this season perform in-game? Especially, how do you evaluate the balance between the Battle-Royale and Plunder modes?
Well, which new weapons and loadouts are really shining this season, especially on which maps? And how’s the balance looking in Plunder mode?
I'm curious, how exactly are the new loadouts affecting weapon performance in Plunder versus Battle Royale? Has anyone noticed a noticeable shift in win rates with the updated matchmaking?
When I returned to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare last season, the update was also packed with new weapons and revamped classes. I quickly got used to the new assault rifles because they were significantly more precise at medium to long range—which completely changed my playstyle. At the same time, the removal of the classic map "Stalingrad" really frustrated me because I had a lot of great matches there, and my map knowledge was a big part of my success. The shift between Battle Royale and Plunder modes created a similar conflict for me: in Plunder, resources were distributed much faster, which took away the appeal of the slow build-up I always enjoyed. Maybe a more balanced timing for content releases would help both newcomers and veterans appreciate the update.
