Yo, dude, the hardest part of collecting Gwent cards in The Witcher 3 is figuring out which cards fit best into which decks. Especially for beginners, I'd love to hear what you should focus on when building a deck. Can you guys share your favorite card combos and strategies too? Also, any tips on hidden content in side quests outside of Gwent would be awesome. Let's make this epic adventure even more efficient together!

Bro, when building a deck in Gwent, the most crucial thing is "synergy" — meaning how well your cards complement each other. Try to strike a balance between the three themes: Nilfgaard, Scoia’tael, and Monsters. Nilfgaard cards usually pack high unit power and "Spy" effects to wear down your opponent, while Scoia’tael’s "Melee" cards churn out units at low cost; you can combine these two themes and control the flow with mid-tier "Medic" or "Spy" cards. As for the Monsters deck, it thrives on "Boost" and "Decoy" cards to disrupt your opponent’s board and suddenly deal massive damage, so having "Hero" cards with enough power is a must. My go-to combo is usually the "Nilfgaard + Scoia’tael" duo. I pair Nilfgaard’s "Emissary" and "Spy" cards with Scoia’tael’s low-cost units like "Spear Thrower" and "Reinforced Ballista." By supporting this duo with "Medic" or "Spy" cards, you can cut off your opponent’s card draw and force them to play whatever’s left in their hand inefficiently. Also, if you strategically pair "Decoy" cards with a "Boost" card, you can suddenly flood the board with two powerful units and choke out your opponent. For hidden content in side quests, you gotta check out the "Tavern" locations in the Skellige region — that’s where you’ll find rare "Hero" cards and "Artifact" items. Don’t skip the "Mysterious Cave" in Kaer Morhen either; the hidden chest there usually drops "Unique" cards. In short, when grouping your cards by theme, focus on each theme’s "core" cards and fill in the gaps with "utility" cards so your deck stays balanced at every stage. GG, have fun!
