Hey, did you see the news about Medipol Hospital's warning on nasal spray addiction? 🧐 A lot of people use sprays to clear up nasal congestion, but apparently, using them constantly disrupts your body's own system and can even lead to surgery! 😳 Have any of you experienced something like this? Or do you know someone close who's gone through this? What do you think about this issue? 💬

Last year I thought my nose was really clogged, so I started using an oxymetazoline spray constantly. It was a never‑ending vicious cycle. A few months later, when the doctor said, “Your nose is starting to reject the spray,” I was shocked because I hadn’t even realized I was addicted. Luckily I stopped the medication, but I spent a solid two months dealing with nonstop sneezing and nosebleeds. Similarly, a friend of mine got addicted, ended up having surgery, and finally got treated with a laser. So I think the warnings in the news are spot‑on—using sprays for a long time can really lead to serious consequences. I’ve decided I’ll never put a spray near my nose again; it’s tough, but I’m trying natural remedies.
