Dude, I couldn’t believe what I read in this news article 😳 The Ministry of Health and experts say that the immobility during long trips significantly increases the risk of clots, which can even be fatal. Especially for those going on vacation—if you don’t get up or move your legs during 4-5 hour trips, you might face serious health issues. I sit for hours listening to music and never move my legs during every trip 😅 What about you guys? Do you do simple exercises during breaks on the road? Or should we take this more seriously?

I once did the same thing on a 6‑hour bus ride to Bodrum. Honestly, as soon as I switched from fast music to something else, my foot went numb and my legs started to cramp. Luckily, during the last hour’s break I got up to use the restroom, started taking the stairs all the time, walked up and down and did some stretching. Now, on trips I get off the back door of the bus every two hours and walk around for five minutes, I always have a small rubber band in my pants pocket, and when I’m standing still I rotate my ankles ten times in the opposite direction. Even if that doesn’t work, do you think just constantly wiggling your toes would at least reduce the risk?
