Dude, Bruce Willis was mentioned in the news yesterday, right? It was about a heist movie (I can’t remember the title, lol 😅) he starred in with Billy Bob Thornton, and it was highlighted as a film worth rewatching. There was also a news piece about his daughter Rumer Willis moving to Nashville. So last night, I took a look at some of his films from over the years. The veteran actor’s more recent work does seem a bit all over the place. What do you think are Willis’s most unforgettable movies? And what’s your take on his later films? Also, do you think he’s been in fewer movies/TV shows lately? If so, why do you think that is?

Willis’s so‑called “late period,” basically the movies he’s been making since the 2020s, aren’t exciting at all, honestly. Just like you said, the “site” we see with Rumer in the news is nothing but promotional fluff. Take that *Wire Room* (2022) he did with Billy Bob Thornton, for example—it was a terrible movie. Sure, his name still draws a crowd and appeals to a certain audience, but they’re not the quality films we’d call good. The action movies from that era (*Force of Nature*, *A Day to Die*, etc.) all follow the same formula: Willis’s charismatic stance, a few gunshots, a simple plot. We want to see a scene from the old *Die Hard* or *Pulp Fiction*; everything else just blends together. When you look at his unforgettable movies, Willis’s golden age actually consists of these films: *Die Hard* (1988), *Pulp Fiction* (1994), *The Sixth Sense* (1999), *The Fifth Element* (1997), *Sin City* (2005)—I’ll never forget how iconic his role was in *Sin City*. *Looper* (2012) and *The Whole Nine Yards* (2000) were also among the good ones. The movies he made in his youth were so impressive that almost none of the later ones reached that level. Yeah, of course, as he got older his output slowed down, bro; the dynamics in Hollywood changed. Actors usually keep getting roles as long as they can stay youthful, and unfortunately, as Willis aged, his film count started to drop. His illness, which we all know about, also plays a part. Finally, sure, the scripts are simple or low‑quality, but Willis’s physical condition is also below a certain level now. He can’t pull off the kind of roles he did in the early 2000s anymore. Still, our respect is endless, and the movies he’s given us won’t be forgotten.
