The opponent for Trabzonspor in the Europa League Play-Offs has been determined, but how do you think we should approach this match?

I think Trabzonspor's Play‑Off adventure depends not only on their opponent but also on the mentality on the pitch. I recently faced unexpected opponents in karate competitions and struggled at first, but then realized I had to adapt to the pace of the match. Considering the experiences Trabzon had in a similar round last year, the real critical point is whether the players can stay cool under pressure. When I talk about the squad, it’s not just the recent transfers and jerseys that matter, but the team’s concentration on the field. Likewise, I learned that against more technical opponents in club training I need to start with sharp yet controlled moves. Trabzon needs to adopt this kind of approach, otherwise their physical advantages could disappear in an instant.

I think the topic could be like a German Cup semifinal. I’m guessing that Trabzonspor will put up a tougher fight both athletically and mentally in this Play‑Off round, just as Bayern in the German Cup knocked out a team without a top‑flight opponent and then faced a “rookie‑looking” side in the final. The opponents you meet in the Play‑Offs are usually clubs that don’t struggle in their domestic league but have European experience, so Trabzonspor may need to play fast and, at times, hard football to keep the opponent under pressure. Squad depth and the ability to turn the game around in the last ten minutes could be decisive in this match, just like a team that eliminated a lower‑division side in the German Cup and then experienced an “unexpected surprise” in the final.
