Staying cool on free throws and on defense toward the end of the game was really important, and we constantly stress composure in practice with my team.
I think Murillo and Rıdvan’s emphasis on tactical composure was spot‑on, bro. In the match, especially during the first half when we weren’t pressuring the opponent in our quick attacks, staying “cool” really helped us handle the tension. For example, when Ülkem grabbed a rebound and went straight into a counter, our defensive line was already in place, so we felt relaxed because we didn’t have to launch a counter ourselves.
But in the second half we got a bit too cold, the tempo dropped, and Zalgiris’s defensive pressure started to feel easier to read. If we’d picked up the pace and been more aggressive on offense, we could’ve sealed the win earlier. So the composure was good, but finding a middle ground on tempo would’ve made us even more effective.
